Traffic Crash Statistics

FLORIDA TRAFFIC ACCIDENT INFORMATION

As indicated by the information below, Florida can be a dangerous place to drive or ride. Each year there are hundreds of thousands of motor vehicle accidents throughout the state. A high percentage of the accidents result in injuries to both drivers and passengers and nearly 3000 people died on Florida roads last year.

The good news indicated by the numbers below is that other than pedestrian and motorcylce accidents Florida saw a decrease in overall accidenst and injuries from 2007 to 2008. We hope this trend has continued into 2009.

If you or a loved one has been seriously injured due to the negligence of another driver on Florida's highways you should speak to an experienced Florida personal injury attorney to learn your rights. You can contact the Butler Law Group for a free consultation with an experienced Florida civil trial attorney.
